These pages describe Neovacs, a company focused on researching and developing therapies for severe, chronic autoimmune diseases.
Our technology: A proprietary and patented platform, the Kinoids, which we are developing to deliver a unique therapeutic modality: active immunotherapy targeting diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s Disease, lupus or even Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
Our vision: By offering patients the therapies of tomorrow, make Neovacs a world leader in active immunotherapy. Today, we are focusing all our efforts and resources on the clinical development of treatments for chronic autoimmune diseases.
We have two product candidates in clinical development, the TNF-Kinoid and the IFNα- Kinoid. Clinical results to date in Phase I/II trials have been positive: both products are well tolerated; the TNF-Kinoid has produced an immune response in Crohn’s patients, and most encouraging of all, initial efficacy results with TNF-K in Crohn’s are very promising.
Based on these first results, we have moved the TNF-K into two Phase II studies, in rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s Disease, designed to confirm the safety and demonstrate the efficacy of this product candidate.
In parallel, we are also conducting a Phase I/II study of the IFNα-Kinoid in lupus patients.
